Magnetizing Services
In addition to our well-maintained suite of in-house magnetizers, we have developed and inventoried hundreds of magnetizing fixtures for nearly every imaginable application and type of magnet. From prototyping to production runs, let us put our experience and equipment to work for you, to produce properly magnetized and documented magnets and magnetic assemblies.
If your application requires a new fixture, we can provide you with a variety of solutions ranging from a quick proof-of-concept prototype to a fully functional prototype that can be upgraded for your production environment.
Calibration Services
Our calibration laboratory is accredited in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005 general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This laboratory also meets the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 and any additional program requirements in the field of calibration.

Linear and Rotary Field Mapping
In addition to measuring what is happening in your magnet or device, we can also tell you what the magnetic field is doing on the outside. Our field mapping equipment offers high precision and accuracy for small magnets to large assemblies. Feel free to call one of our engineers to discuss your requirements.
Magnetic Modeling and Analysis, Consultation, and Training Services
Our engineering staff can help put together the whole magnetic package. Analyzing and optimizing the magnetic circuit (selection, qualification, and testing of the magnetic materials to be used), all the way through assembly and magnetizing of prototypes, our technical team has the experience and expertise to help you out. With over seventeen degree-holding engineers (four with advanced degrees in engineering/magnetics) on staff, we are confident that our team can provide accurate answers to your technical questions and an engineered solution that is matched to your situation.
Services Provided by KJS Associate
The KJS Associates division provides a wide range of reliable and confidential testing services with NIST-traceable certification. For hard magnetic material testing, we can measure the magnetic “B vs. H curves” and unit properties of all types of permanent magnets over a wide range of temperatures. For soft magnetic material testing, we can provide you with quasi-static “DC” magnetic B vs. H curves, coercivity Hc, permeability, core loss, and other important material properties over a wide temperature range.
