Mr. McMullen received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1986, and an MS degree in Electrical Engineering/Magnetics from the University of Dayton in 1988. Prior to joining Magnetic Instrumentation, Inc. in 1994, Mr. McMullen held various technical and management positions with Magnequench and General Motors. He was the technical liaison within the General Motors Corporation on new magnetic NdFeB applications.
Mr. McMullen has been in the magnetics industry for over 31 years, including twenty-one years with Magnetic Instrumentation. For the last fifteen years he guided the company through many industry changes and new product innovations to a current position of financial strength and market leadership. Mr. McMullen has been directly involved with customer applications and engineered magnetic solutions and was instrumental in Magnetic Instrumentation receiving the 2013 Ford Motor Company’s Henry Ford Technology Award (HFTA) for the design, development, and implementation of a Rotor Magnetizing process for Hybrid Transmissions.
